Your Assets are Important to You and Us Too. Let Us Give the Personal Insurance Coverage You Need in Illinois

Auto

Insuring your auto includes liability and property damage to others, physical damage for your vehicle, medical payment for you and your passengers regardless of fault, uninsured and underinsured motorist, and uninsured and underinsured property damage. There are additional coverages available like gap coverage, loss of use, funeral expenses, and replacement cost of the vehicle for additional premium.

Homeowners HO-3 and HO-5

This provides coverage for owner occupied one to four family dwellings. This can also include secondary and seasonal owner occupied dwellings. It will provide coverage for the dwelling and detached structures against unforeseen direct physical loss by either a named peril or perils not specifically excluded against in the policy. It will also provide liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage to others, medical payments to others, and additional expenses. Additional coverage can be purchased like water and sewer back up coverage and extended replacement cost for additional premium.

Condo HO-6

We can write owner occupied and condos rented to others. Coverage will include your personal property, dwelling improvements and betterments, liability coverage for bodily injury and property damage to others, medical payments to others, and additional expenses.

Tenant/Renters HO-4

Whether you are a student in your first apartment or renting a home, the policy provides coverage for your personal property from unforeseen direct named peril physical losses. It will also provide you with liability protection for bodily injury and property damage to others, medical expenses for others, and additional expenses.

Landlord & Rental Properties DP1-3

Non-owner occupied one to four family dwellings. This can include condos, vacation and seasonal properties, and even a second family home that family members reside in.

Vacant Homes

When a residence becomes vacant, most preferred insurance carriers will not provide coverage. Vacant homes can be insured with specialized carriers that can provide coverage for investor owner properties, estates in probate, and homes for sale.

Umbrella

This can provide excess liability protection over and above your auto and homeowner liability limits. It can also provide coverage for libel, slander, and personal injury which your homeowner’s policy does not provide coverage for. This can also provide liability protection if you volunteer or hold office on a non-professional board like a homeowners or condo association. We highly suggest excess liability protection for all family households with young drivers, especially.

Inland Marine or Scheduled Personal Property

The policy will provide all risk worldwide coverage unless specifically excluded for agreed value items like jewelry, furs, guns, collections, musical instruments, sports memorabilia, etc.

Flood

Flood is not covered by any homeowner’s policy. It is provided by the National Flood Insurance Program. It will provide coverage for the dwelling and personal contents if the damage is caused by the overflow of inland or tidal waters or the rapid accumulation or runoff of surface waters from any source, mudflows, or rapid erosion caused by waves or currents. The water must affect two or more properties (at least one of which is your property). This can include a water main break in the street, a dam release up stream, or even your neighbor’s swimming pool. 30% of all flood claims happen in low risk areas.
