JimProducer Profile: Jim Alaimo

Jim began his insurance career in 1968 with Western Southern Life as a Debit Agent. Working his way up to Associate Sales Manager, he earned the elite status of President’s Club Member. Jim wanted more out of his insurance business, so in 1979 he joined Farmers Insurance Group in order to have a full line agency. That meant he would be selling and servicing personal lines of auto, home, life, annuities, health, and commercial insurance. He was involved in a two year training program that gave him extensive knowledge of the insurance industry. That was just the beginning, as he knew he would be involved in continuing education throughout his career. By 2013, this became a 45 year investment of servicing the public. While at Farmers, Jim earned several recognitions including: Blue Vase, Blue Max, Life Masters, Topper Club, Preferred Underwriter, and his most prized, Million Dollar Roundtable Club.

Through the years, Jim was active in his community. He became president of Chaney-Mongee band parents, served as president of the school board and president of Lockport High School band parents. He was an involved parishioner of St. Ann’s church. In later years, he served on the Laraway school board and was member of St. Joseph’s church in Rockdale. Currently his home church is St. Jude’s church in Joliet.

Jim was offered an opportunity by Northern Insurance Service LTD. to sell insurance through them. This brokering has been the highlight of his career because it gave him opportunities to represent many
companies which offer the best possible values to his clients. Jim is working part time while enjoying retirement. He spends time in Marco Island during the winter.
